Community Theatre - Radford, Coventry
The tale of "Rumpelstiltskin" is about a miller's daughter who is forced by her father to tell the king that she can spin straw into gold.
The greedy king locks her in a room with straw and a spinning wheel, threatening her life if she fails.
A small man appears, spins the straw into gold in exchange for her jewelry, and then her necklace for a second room.
On the third night, he spins the final room full of straw in exchange for her firstborn child, a promise she reluctantly agrees to.
Grab your friends, come join the fun,
with songs and laughter for everyone,
cheer the heroes, boo the sin,
a whirl of fun and mischievous spin.
